Is this the real WhatsApp Business API?+
Yes. Alintro uses the official Meta WhatsApp Cloud API — not WhatsApp Web sessions, not a BSP reseller. You own the number, Meta bills you directly (or optionally via Alintro consolidated billing).
What does it cost?+
Meta India prices: ₹0.16 utility conversation, ₹0.82 marketing, ₹0.13 authentication. Service conversations (customer-initiated, 24h window) are free. Alintro's app is free up to 100 messages/month; pro plans start at $9.
Do I need a green tick?+
No. The green tick (verified business badge) is optional. You can send fully-compliant WhatsApp messages without it. Alintro supports the green-tick application workflow if you want one.
What about WhatsApp Web / free option?+
Alintro also supports WhatsApp Web sessions for stores doing < 500 messages/day. Free, no Meta approval, but less reliable. See the /docs/whatsapp-web-setup guide for details.
Can I use my existing WhatsApp number?+
Only if the number is not currently registered with a personal WhatsApp account. Most stores buy a dedicated business number.
How long does Meta approval take?+
