What you need from MSG91

Sign up at msg91.com
Use your business email. Complete DLT registration during onboarding — MSG91 will guide you through Airtel / Jio / Vi / BSNL approvals.

Register on the DLT portal
trai-dlt.com → Principal Entity registration. Upload PAN + GST + authorisation letter. Takes 1-2 business days.

Register sender ID and templates
In DLT, create template → get Template ID → map to MSG91. Alintro stores the Template ID per-message.

Paste credentials into Alintro
Gateways → Add custom HTTP → select MSG91 preset. Paste Auth Key. Set sender + default template ID. Test.

Can I send without DLT?+
Only to your own test numbers. All commercial SMS to Indian mobiles requires DLT.
Does MSG91 support international SMS?+
Yes, with "INTERNATIONAL" route. Pricing varies by country.
WhatsApp on MSG91 vs Meta direct?+
MSG91 is easier to set up (they handle BSP approvals). Meta direct is cheaper per conversation once you hit volume.
