Twilio setup guide
Twilio is the global SMS + WhatsApp leader. Alintro has a 1-click Twilio integration — paste credentials, pick sender, you're live.
1. Sign up at twilio.com
Add a payment method and recharge at least $20. Twilio charges per second for trials, so a small balance lets you test freely.
2. Buy a phone number
Console → Phone Numbers → Buy a Number. Pick one in your target country. Local numbers cost ~$1/month; toll-free is $2/month. You also need SMS + Voice capability.
3. (Recommended) Create a Messaging Service
Console → Messaging → Services → New. Add your number. Enable Sticky Sender and Fallback to long code. This gives you better deliverability than a bare phone number.
4. Copy Account SID + Auth Token
They're on the main console dashboard. Click the eye to reveal the auth token.
5. Paste into Alintro
Notif → Gateways → Add → Twilio. Paste Account SID + Auth Token + From number (or Messaging Service SID). Click Test connection.
For WhatsApp on Twilio
Console → Messaging → Senders → WhatsApp Senders → Request access. Meta approval takes 1-3 days. Once approved, Alintro routes WhatsApp automatically.
USA 10DLC registration
If you send to US numbers, register a 10DLC brand + campaign in the Twilio console first. Unregistered A2P traffic is heavily throttled.
Pricing quick-compare
Twilio India SMS ~$0.023. MSG91 India SMS ₹0.18. Switch to MSG91 for India traffic — Alintro supports both side by side.
